SCHUNK Has Expanded Its PEH Series 2-Finger Long Stroke Gripper

SCHUNK has expanded its servo-electric 2-finger long stroke gripper of the PEH series to include sizes 30 and 50. This significantly expands the application spectrum for this universal long-stroke gripper. With a maximum stroke of 100 millimeters per finger for the PEH 50, these grippers are now suitable for a large parts spectrum, extending from small components to large workpieces.

The robust guides are designed for precise handling even at high loads. The gripping force can be adapted to the broad application array - for the PEH 50 as high as 1400 Newtons (315lbf), with maximum finger lengths of up to 250 millimeters (9.8in).

The brushless servo-motor is used as the drive. The new integrated SCHUNK controller is used for control. This enables very simply programming, pre-configuration, and commissioning. It also make it possible to use command libraries created elsewhere for other modules.
