High Performance Twist Drills Designed For High Speeds and Feeds On Display At IMTS
Schaumburg, IL... Komet of America, Inc. will introduce the new KUB Duplon® drills during IMTS 2004 in Booth #E-2780. Specifically designed for small bores, high cutting speeds and feed rates, the KUB Duplon® twist drills extend the capabilities of Komet's KUB® Drill Team products.
A particular feature of the KUB Duplon® drill is the shape of the steel drill body, with a solid carbide head which is securely joined to the tool body by a special connection process. The radial land on the drill head is produced after the connection has been made and this produces the high precision required for maximum bore quality. In addition the secure combination of the drill body and the drill head allows exceptionally high performance results in the context of cutting speed and feed rate.
The KUB Duplon drill is offered in diameter ranges of 8mm to 16mm (0.315" to 0.630") and are effective in drill depth of 3X and 5X the length to diameter ratios.
