ITW Muller Enhances Raptor Series with Raptor Plus(TM)

-New Semi-Automatic Turntable Stretch Wrap Machine is Safe, Reliable and Easy to Use-

Arlington Heights, IL– ITW Muller, a leading manufacturer of both innovative stretch wrap equipment and high quality stretch wrap film, introduces an enhancement to its Raptor Series of turntable machines with Raptor Plus™. The new machine boasts an easy to use control panel that provides the flexibility to create customized wrap patterns for each unique application.

“Our goal was to increase the ease of use with this particular series while still allowing superior adjustability to wrap a wide range of products,” says Dan Schmidt, Business Development Manager at ITW Muller. “The end-product is a highly efficient, simple and safe machine that lives up to the Raptor name.”

The machine, which can wrap up to 35 loads per hour, has adjustable carriage and turntable speeds.  The Raptor Plus also has adjustable top and bottom wraps and can store up to 15 programs.  A motorized power pre-stretch system (260%) with adjustable film tension control guarantees users optimal film usage.  Film tension control ensures superior load containment and helps eliminate film breaks and product damage.

A key feature of the Raptor Plus is that the film carriage is housed inside the tower.  This significantly reduces the risk of damage to this critical component and helps reduce maintenance and the overall cost of ownership.  This unique design allows for very simple, safe, and ergonomic film threading.  An access ramp, load stabilizer and larger 79” turntable diameter are available as optional upgrades.

“We work tirelessly to provide new solutions that meet every customer need,” says Schmidt. “From easy maintenance to greater optimization of cost per pallet, the Raptor plus is one of the most efficient and reliable turntables on the market.”
