New Miyano Compact Turning Center for Complete Machining of Small Parts



Wood Dale, IL October 26, 2009 - Miyano Machinery is pleased to introduce the new BX-26T Compact Turning Center for complete machining of medium to high volume small parts. The BX-26T emulates cam-style automatic machine operation and also incorporates live tooling to complete complex parts in a single setup.

The BX-26T features a unique double stack turret with four Z-axis live tools and fourteen static tooling stations. An additional four X-axis live tools on a Y-axis slide allow the BX-26T to perform complex machining operations including cross-drilling and off-centered milling. Linear guide ways and an 8,000RPM 5HP spindle facilitate high speed turning operations.

The BX-26T Turning Center has a compact footprint of only 1,640mm (64.6") wide by 1,095mm (43.1") deep, and is capable of accommodating bar stock up to 26mm (1.02") in diameter. Additional features include a Miyano-designed Oi Fanuc control, standard auger-style chip conveyor, and B&S #11C collet system.
