New Development of Magnetically Levitated Turbo Molecular Pumps MAG W 300 and 600

Cologne, 2007-03-07

The expert for high vacuum technology, Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum is completing the product range with the new series of magnetically levitated turbo molecular pumps MAG W 300 and MAG W 600 series. Based on a technically mature design platform, these pumps comply with customer expectations as to highest reliability, efficiency and low vibration due to the 5-axis magnetic bearing and drive system.

The robust system performance offers high pumping speeds and compression rates despite the minimized footprint and indifferent of installation in any orientation. Optionally, the pumps can be delivered with an integrated converter, but also with a separate converter as desktop version. An innovative interface concept guarantees easy integration into customer systems. These characteristics of flexibility and customer orientation set new benchmarks.

The MAG W 300 and 600 series are especially suitable for vibration-sensitive installations such as analytical instruments, electron microscopy, thin film deposition or research and development and similar future shaping applications.
