Wheeling, IL-International task lighting manufacturer, Waldmann Lighting Company, offers a full range of tubular fluorescent IP-67 waterproof lighting varying in length from 10.8- to 64.6-inches. The company's "RL-40" and "RL-70" lights are ideal for virtually any harsh environment applications including vision systems, packaging machinery and food processing equipment. The lights are also ideal for petroleum-based environments. All fluorescent lamps are contained in a waterproof enclosure.

The tubes are available with a 2.75-inch or slender 1.57-inch outer diameter. Inside the tubes house very bright, energy efficient T8 and T5 fluorescent lamps. The T8 lamps are available in 17, 25 and 32 watts, and the T5 fluorescent lamps are offered in 24, 39, 54, and 80 watts with a 20,000 hour average lamp life. All lights are 10-year warranted.

All lights are available in either high impact borosilicate glass or acrylic tube material. Borosilicate glass tubes are ideal for applications involving synthetic coolants and other chemicals. Optional parabolic louvers also control light output and reduce glare to the work surface.

Tubular fluorescent RL-70 and RL-40 lights are available for virtually any vision inspection application and can be pre-wired for easy installation for quick plug-in to a 120V power supply. The lights are offered with built-in magnetic ballasts, remote ballasts, electronic ballasts, and "all-in-one" models that include built-in brackets, ballast, and cord set. Remote ballasts are available in several specifications including one ballast to operate two lights, high frequency electronic ballasts to eliminate strobe effect, ballasts that operate on various voltages and frequencies, and many other combinations. Many models provide new generation compact fluorescent lamps, which provide up to 62% more energy efficiency than traditional bi-pin fluorescent lamps.
