AKRON, OH (February 2004) - Akro-Mils introduces the Cross-Stack Akro-Tub, the ideal container for efficient in-process handling, sorting, and organization in industrial assembly and food processing operations.
Cross-Stack Akro-Tubs are available in two sizes, each in heights of 8" and 12". These heavy-duty tubs feature side and bottom stacking grooves that allow stable, 90° stacks of
loaded containers to provide efficient transport on pallets or dollies. When emptied, a simple turn nests the tubs to conserve floor and storage space. Nesting stops on the ends prevent jamming to allow quick release of nested tubs. The tubs are compatible with standard 36" shelving and conveyor systems.
Cross-Stack Akro-Tubs are reusable and eliminate the need for messy and costly cardboard containers. They also offer superior product protection over cardboard substitutes. Extra-thick walls and reinforcing ribs provide superior strength for load capacities up to 14 gallons. The molded-in side handles are deep and reinforced for comfortable, ergonomic lifting.
