ELYRIA, OH - January 2003 - Ridge Tool Company has introduced the RIDGID® Model 117 self-acting midget cutter, a new tubing cutter featuring a spring-loaded cutter wheel with self-feeding action for easy, automatic cutting.
By simply tightening the knob once, the user can cut the tubing cleanly and precisely. The cutter wheel cuts small-diameter pipe and tubing made of hard and soft copper, aluminum and brass.
Weighing just 4 ounces, the midget cutter is compact in size for easy use in tight or hard-to-reach areas. The knob's single-tightening feature further facilitates the tool's use in restricted spaces.
The Model 117 is adjustable to any size tubing from 3/16" to 15/16". The new knob design includes a comfortable finger-grip, and an ergonomic knob, which allows the user to apply greater
