Parker Introduces Seal-Lok(TM) Lite Fittings for Fluid Conveying System
COLUMBUS, Ohio-A new Seal-Lok(TM) Lite tube fitting system from Parker Hannifin Corporation's Tube Fittings Division now offers a reliable, compact fitting solution for applications requiring high flow and low-to-medium system pressures.
The complete Seal-Lok Lite system is comparable to the traditional Seal-Lok (SAE J1453) product line, with the added feature of being adaptable to a line of FlexFlange light-duty, flexible, corrugated stainless steel tube traditionally used in the gas appliance industry. Seal-Lok Lite's compact design features shorter threads on the Lite ORFS end, while the fittings with SAE-ORB studs utilize a light-duty port stud with reduced thread length. Fittings with male NPT threads also utilize a light-duty version (PTF-Short).
In addition, Seal-Lok Lite's hard-line (metallic tube) connection utilizes existing stainless steel Parflange® tooling and equipment. The standard Seal-Lok stainless steel series Parflange sleeves are used across both the traditional Seal-Lok and Lite fitting platforms.
