Tube Ends Ready To Weld
Orbimatic GmbH has now added to their equipment a range of tube end facing machines.
The RPG 1.5 and RPG 4.5 are ergonomically designed tube end facing machines which can be used to produce a perfectly square and burr free finish on tubes. The RPG 1.5 covers from 3mm to 38.1mm outside diameters and the RPG 4.5 covers from 25.4mm to 114.3mm outside diameters.
These tube end facing machines use collet sets to clamp the tube on the outside diameter and a lathe type cutter is then rotated and introduced to the tube end on a micrometer feed system to machine it square. The micrometer feed system allows a precise amount of material to be removed from the tube for sizing purposes.
The machines are supplied with a bench mount stand which makes the machine easy to operate.
The whole package is supplied in a robust carry case which makes it easy to transport and keeps all parts together.
