FARMINGTON, Conn., September 14, 2009 --TRUMPF Inc. will showcase six new products that offer fabricators new business opportunities through cutting edge technology at FABTECH 2009, November 15 through 18 at McCormick Place in Chicago. TRUMPF products will be located in booths #6001 and #6013. Product highlights include the world premier of TRUMPF's newest laser cutting system, the TruLaser 1030, as well as the TruBend 7036 and the TruLaser Tube 7000.

TRULASER 1030: TRUMPF'S NEWEST LASER CUTTING SYSTEM

TRUMPF's TruLaser 1030 is unlike any other laser cutting machine on the market. The TruLaser 1030 offers manufacturers the ability to easily add laser cutting to their in-house services, which opens the door to new business opportunities. Designed and built in the U.S., the TruLaser 1030 features all the benefits of TRUMPF technology at an incredible price. The TruLaser 1030 requires half of the floor space of a typical 5 x 10 foot machine, ships as one complete package and features easy installation.

TRUBEND 7036: TAKES OPERATOR COMFORT SERIOUSLY

TRUMPF's newest press brake, the TruBend 7036 is the world's most ergonomic brake with an adjustable foot rest and support table. It also features a 6-axis lightweight carbon fiber backgauge, BendGuard safety system, comfort tool clamping, customized LED lighting and 15" touch screen motorized control. Programming can be performed offline with TruTops Bend, at the machine control numerically or in 2D profile via graphic shop floor programming.

TRULASER TUBE 7000: PAVING THE WAY TO NEW APPLICATIONS

TRUMPF's TruLaser Tube 7000 cuts tubes and profiles with large diameters and wall thicknesses. It is able to process tubes up to 30 feet long and can handle a maximum weight of 496 pounds. Compared with conventional processes like sawing, drilling or milling, a TruLaser Tube can boost productivity significantly. With this high-end, modern designed machine, TRUMPF offers a laser cutting system featuring heavy-duty drives engineered for heavy tubes, a broad chucking range and a high degree of flexibility.

The three other new products on display in the TRUMPF booths: the TruLaser 3030 NEW; the most recent generation of the TruPunch 5000; and TRUMPF's new fiber laser marking system.
