Rubbermaid Introduces All-Inclusive WaveBrake(TM) Mopping Trolley

New Mopping Trolley Improves Productivity and Makes Cleaning Easier for End Users

Winchester, V.A. (January 24, 2006) - Following the successful launch of the WaveBrake(TM) mopping system, Rubbermaid Commercial Products introduces further enhancement to the system with the addition of the WaveBrake(TM) Mopping Trolley. The Mopping Trolley enables cleaning professionals to consolidate tasks, reduce trips, save time and work more productively. The WaveBrake(TM) Mopping Trolley system consists of a 35 qt. WaveBrake(TM) bucket, 18 qt. dirty water bucket and wringer with low stress handle nested in a quiet caster dolly. The system also has a trash collection container and removable tool caddy.

The WaveBrake(TM) bucket successfully reduces splashing by 40%, by virtue of its patent pending, proprietary design: two molded-in wave "baffles" and a bucket shape that interrupts wave formation. Suppressing water movement in the bucket reduces splashing and spilling, subsequently reducing wet floor hazards.

The WaveBrake(TM) bucket is meeting with widespread approval in the industry. One satisfied customer states, "I am very impressed with the new WaveBrake(TM) bucket and wringer. It saves time and puts less strain on my staff. Safety is another big issue and it [WaveBrake(TM)] reduces the amount of water on the floor. Reducing the potential of slips and falls is very important; plants are busy and people are always walking through."

WaveBrake(TM) Productivity Improvements

Rubbermaid provides end users with a more efficient mopping system, helping increase worker productivity. With WaveBrake(TM) workers spend less time cleaning up accidental spills and more time on important tasks. In addition, the WaveBrake(TM) Mopping Trolley, enables workers to transport a range of cleaning equipment, in one, easy to maneuver trolley. The higher efficiency wringer, with its comfort grip handle, places less strain on cleaning staff.

WaveBrake(TM) Mopping Trolley Offering

The WaveBrake(TM) Mopping Trolley includes the WaveBrake(TM) dual water combo (35 qt. mopping bucket and 18 qt. dirty water bucket), down press or high efficiency side press wringer with mop handle clip, bucket for trash collection or extra storage, removable maid caddy and mechanism for carrying two Rubbermaid pedestrian safety signs, a lobby dust pan and additional supplies. All components sit securely in a quiet caster dolly for easy movement through facilities. WaveBrake(TM) Buckets are formed using Rubbermaid's structural web forming process, resulting in a strong, durable bucket with a smooth, easy-to-clean surface.
