New Triton Sewer Camera: Portability, Reliability and Connectivity

Fiberscope.net has introduced a compact sewer camera TRITON Portable with wifi connectivity (http://www.fiberscope.net/sewer-camera-triton-portable.html). The TRITON product line is well known for its dependability, rugged design and construction and a remarkable ability to withstand even very adverse environmental circumstances.

The camera head of the unit has a fairly small diameter of 1.23” which makes it possible to use the tool in narrow pipes or in tubes with corners and bends. The flexible coil behind the camera tip helps to navigate the camera head within the pipe, while a sapphire lens protects it from physical damage. The ? CCD high resolution camera chip delivers a clear and bright image onto a large 7.4” color monitor with acrylic covering for better protection. This sewer camera is ideal for pipes between 2 and 4” but, depending on the number and character of bends, it can be successfully used in pipes from 1.5” to 6” in diameter.

The unit contains no parts that are easy to break or damage, it is a solid, heavy duty piece of equipment with a Kevlar coated 38 meter (125") push rod, stainless steel camera head, machine aluminum controller box and a steel reel. Some of the technical features place this new portable sewer camera well ahead of the competition. To start with, the camera boasts a wifi module, which allows the user to see and record the inspection on a smartphone, tablet or any other mobile device. Then, the camera head has an integrated 512Hz sonde compatible with any standard locator of the same frequency. This feature is used to locate the position of the camera head at any given moment of the inspection. Finally, the new Triton is one of the most portable systems on the market given its tough and solid design and the choice of features it offers. The total weight of this compact size inspection tool is just 29 lbs. (just over 13 kg).
