Tripp Lite, a world leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity equipment, underlined the importance of utilizing effective enterprise and cooling solutions for IT related processes and equipment in the business sector at the IDC Storage, Virtualization and Datacenter Roadshow 2010, held recently at the Hilton Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The event, which was organized by IDC, a leading global market intelligence and advisory firm in the information technology and telecommunications industries, aims to help participants explore ways to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve higher ROI by looking beyond speeds, capacities and power consumption. The company highlighted its wide range of enterprise racks, rack accessories and cooling solutions like the SR42UBKD, SRXCOOL12K, SRFAN3U, SR1UBRUSH, SR1UPANEL10, and SRFANROOF.

Tripp Lite emphasized the importance of utilizing its new range of enterprise racks, rack accessories and cooling solutions as an effective solution to help organize, connect, control and protect critical computer and electronic equipment. Aside from the three-phase UPS systems, the company also demonstrated the new single-phase UPS system 10kVA model, SU10KRT3UHV; the 3kVA Model, SUINT3000RTXL2U and the three-phase UPS systems 20kVA model, SU20KX. All units are rack mountable - the 10kVA model comes with 0.9 power factor and has an optional bypass maintenance panel, making it hot-swappable, while the 3kVA model occupies less rack space. Tripp Lite also featured its web-based guides that have been designed to let users identify the ideal product for their applications and provide crucial help in designing an integrated solution and in identifying the products required to build a robust power protection system. With the company reaffirming its commitment towards promoting the use of advanced and reliable IT infrastructure in today's regional healthcare industry, Tripp Lite is currently offering a range of regulation-compliant medical-grade power protection and connectivity products for mission-critical equipment and back-office datacenter facilities for healthcare establishments in the region.

"We are very proud to have participated as the exclusive Exhibition Partner for IDC Storage, Virtualization and Datacenter Roadshow 2010, which ably reflects our strong commitment towards the development and production of effective power and connectivity solutions for companies and enterprises that heavily depend on technology as a major aspect of their operations," said Vipin Sharma, Vice President, EMEA Sales, Tripp Lite. "The forum aims to act as a strategic platform to help introduce and launch new products, services and solutions to businesses based in the UAE. The event was also packaged as an important venue to discuss key IT issues, develop partnerships and create networking opportunities."

IDC Storage, Virtualization and Datacenter Roadshow 2010, featured technical presentations and case studies about renovation and retrofitting; the convergence of physical and logical management tools; utilizing capacity management and automation tools; the challenge of energy efficiency metrics; cloud computing and virtualization and modularity and scalability. The event followed Tripp Lite's successful participation at the recent Datacenter Dynamics Dubai, which addressed the challenges faced by owners and operators of legacy structures in need of upgrading and new builds required to meet the complex combination of exponential data growth, technology advances, energy efficiency, resilience and security.

"Tripp Lite remains steadfast in its commitment to support and sponsor strategic IT and business forums and conferences in the UAE and the rest of the Middle East region. Active participation in these events and their related activities allow us the opportunity to remain visible and increase consumer awareness of Tripp Lite as a company and the many products and services we offer - constantly aiming to highlight our 2,500 products as the most viable solution in organizing and protecting computer and IT infrastructure and electronic equipment," concluded Sharma.
