Tripp Lite Introduces a Full Line of DVI over Cat5 Solutions
Chicago, IL -Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity products, has introduced a full line of DVI Extenders and Extender/Splitters. Designed to recognize and receive display signals over long distances using a single Cat5e/6 cable, the B140 series allows for convenient installation in applications where the display source is remotely located. Users can place their sources in a secure location while one or more monitors are located up to 200 feet away. Implementation is simple and cost-effective-only one Cat5e/6 cable is needed to extend the DVI signal, allowing for inexpensive installation for classrooms, businesses, digital signage and presentation applications.
DVI over Cat5 Extender/Splitters
Allow a DVI signal to be transmitted up to 200 ft. to multiple remote displays as well as a local display.
DVI over Cat5 Passive Extender
Remote Unit and Wallplate Unit extend the DVI signal up to 100 ft. from the source.
DVI over Cat5 Active Extender
Remote Unit and Wallplate Unit extend the DVI signal up to 200 ft. from the source.
DVI over Cat5 Active Extender Kit
Includes both local and remote units, allowing users to extend a DVI signal up to 200 ft. to a single remote display.
