FREMONT, California, July, 2005 - Elma Bustronic Corporation, an industry leading designer and manufacturer of high performance backplanes has developed space saving 3U CompactPCI backplane in a 3-slot size. The backplane features power studs placed between the slots to save valuable space.

Only 5.067" high by 2.360" wide, the 3-slot 3U cPCI is a 32-bit version. The backplane has 8-layers and features a controlled-impedance stripline design.

All Elma Bustronic CompactPCI backplanes are compliant to the latest PICMG specifications.
