Trimble Introduces CityClean Solution Featuring Roll-Off and Route Management Capabilities for the Environmental Services Market

DALLAS - Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) introduced today its CityClean(TM) solution with Roll-Off and Route Management modules for the environmental services market. The solution, specifically designed for cities, municipalities, and small and mid-sized environmental services companies, offers affordable and flexible software applications for managing, measuring, and optimizing hauling operations.

The announcement was made today at Waste Expo 2011, North America's largest solid waste and recycling tradeshow.

The Trimble CityClean solution offers functionality-specific modules that can be implemented separately or bundled to address operations and customer service workflows. The Roll-Off Management module includes features such as container (roll-off) scheduling, tracking, enhanced invoicing/billing, activities summary and a driver's schedule report. The Route Management module offers operators and users in the recycling and environmental services business a simple and efficient tool to manage accounts and assign them to routes, adjust route sequencing, and to generate driver route reports. Both CityClean modules are easy-to-implement, easy-to-learn and easy-to-use.

"In the past operators and fleet managers had to plan routes on paper maps or white boards which was time consuming. Customer service representatives spend a significant amount of time reviewing driver schedules and updating the scheduled services based on the driver's feedback. In addition, the billing process is typically a manual process and prone to errors. The Trimble CityClean solution addresses these challenges and is a complete solution for managing, measuring and optimizing hauling operations. Our goal is to offer simple and efficient tools to reduce operating costs, maximize resources and streamline the overall workflow," said Elmar Lenz, director of Trimble's Environmental Solutions Business.

The Trimble CityClean solution is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2011. Contact Trimble's Environmental Solutions sales team for more information at: environmentalsolutions@trimble.com.
