Tri-Wing Pump handles low-viscosity fluids.

Press Release Summary:

AccuLobe(TM) pump utilizes tri-wing rotor, constructed of nickel-based non-galling alloy, to provide sealing surfaces and clearances that minimize slip on water-like fluids. Casing design incorporates 4 beveled cusps that allow pump to self-drain. With capacities to 9.2 gpm and pressures to 175 psi, pump conforms to 3-A standards and is EHEDG certified for CIP applications. It offers foot or bulkhead mounting or close coupling to NEMA C-face or IEC flange motors.

New Tri-Wing AccuLobe(TM) Pump from Viking Pump Offers Higher Pressures and More Accurate Metering on Thin Liquids

Viking's Sanitary Products Group has introduced a new tri-wing rotor design for the AccuLobe(TM) series to provide higher pressure and greater metering accuracy on low viscosity liquids. The tri-wing rotors provide greater sealing surfaces and reduced clearances to minimize slip on waterlike fluids, compared to the pumps' standard multi-lobe rotors. The AccuLobe offers capacities to 9.2 gpm (35 lpm) and pressures to 175 psi (12 bar).

The patent-pending tri-wing rotors are constructed of a nickel-based non-galling alloy. The new casing design incorporates 4 bevelled cusps, maximizing efficiency while allowing the pump to self-drain, whatever the port orientation. The pumps offer foot or bulkhead mounting, or close coupling to NEMA C-face or IEC flange motors.

The tri-wing AccuLobe is ideal for biotech and pharmaceutical applications, including ultrafiltration, laboratory, and ultrapure water transfer and metering. Other applications include food and beverage processing, container filling, and many more. The AccuLobe conforms to 3-A standards and is EHEDG certified for CIP applications.
