Worry-Free Business Security Services offers a set of management tools to support the managed services model
LOS ANGELES- Today at the 2011 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), a global leader in Internet content security, announced Trend Micro(TM) Worry-Free(TM) Business Security Services, Worry-Free Remote Manager and the Licensing Management Platform as a set of management tools that will give service providers the ability to securely manage their customers' services through the cloud.
Worry-Free Business Security Servicesfor Service Providers is a set of hosted, cloud-based security solutions designed to ensure that businesses are continuously protected under an umbrella of web-based services. Worry-Free Remote Manager aggregates customer data to enable central management and reporting of multiple customers. While the Licensing Management Platform allows service providers to create and manage customer licenses on-the-fly. Because all three of these components of Worry-Free Business Security Services for Service Providers do not require installation on a server and leverages the Internet, they uses less computing resources and require less upfront investment.

Customers of the service are always connected to the Trend Micro(TM) Smart Protection Network(TM) cloud security infrastructure that blocks threats before they can reach protected computers. By leveraging the power of the cloud, Worry-Free Business Security Services combined with Worry-Free Remote Manager allow service providers to take advantage of an online console to manage customers' accounts remotely from a centralized location and confirm that remote workers remain secure regardless of their location.
Additionally, the License Management Platform for Service Providers enables service providers to create customized solutions that address each of their customers' unique security needs. Service providers can provide the security of Trend Micro's Worry-Free Business Security Services to their customers, provide customized support details and have full control over license creation and maintenance.
Having previously focused on an on-premise approach to delivering solutions, Japan-based service provider Nippon Jimuki Co. (NJC) began offering a customized Worry-Free Business Security Services plan called "Assurance Plus," that combined helpdesk, emergency vaccination, virus monitoring and on-site rescue.
