Water Maze Introduces Automatic Wastewater Treatment System With Unique EC-Plus Technology

Water Maze, a leading manufacturer of industrial wastewater treatment systems since 1989, has introduced a compact, automated wastewater recycling system that uses an innovative integration of two technologies to treat an unusually broad range of waste streams found in pressure washing applications.

The new, patent-pending EC1-300A integrates electrocoagulation (an electrolytic process) with polymer injection for highly effective and efficient treatment of wastewaters ranging from suspended solids to emulsified oils and heavy metals, all of which are a challenge for most water treatment systems.

Intelligent control circuitry is used to totally automate the system eliminating the need for intensive operator training and constant maintenance. In other words, there are no filters to change!

The EC1-300A is recognizable for its size-the footprint is only 40-by-91 inches-and the absence of towers, tanks and exposed wiring associated with most water treatment systems. The entire system is enclosed in a metal cabinet for protection against the elements and comes with an optional thermostat-controlled heater for reducing the risk of freezing.

Inside the EC1-300A are three stainless steel compartment tanks with sloped floors to aid in the automatic purging process and sludge removal. Metal double doors on one end provide security as well as protect the electrical controls from pressure washer overspray.

The EC1-300A also injects the waste stream with ozone for bacteria and odor control eliminating the need for chlorine and other harmful sanitizers. It is also ETL certified to the rigid UL-73 safety standards and is built in an ISO-9001-quality Water Maze factory.

The EC1-300A is easily matched up with the Water Maze WP-914 wash pad to create a totally self-contained portable wash rack that captures and recycles all of the wash water.

Water Maze also produces a broad selection of water treatment systems with a variety of technologies, including bioremediation, filtration and evaporation. For more information, contact Crismon Lewis at 800-535-0941 Ext. 175.
