Greydon Demonstrates New T-Max High-Speed Programmable Traversing Printer for High-Quality Bar Codes on 2 Axes at MD&M East 2003 Show

New York, NY, June 2, 2003 - Specialty inline printer maker Greydon Inc. will demonstrate its newest high-speed programmable traversing thermal transfer printer, the T-Max series, capable of printing high-quality bar codes on two axes for multi-lane applications, at the Medical Device & Manufacturing (MD&M) East 2003 show at booth #2624 in New York's Jacob Javits Center June 2-4. The company will also demonstrate its successful J-MAX series of high-speed programmable XY traversing ink jet printers, as well as the Micromax flexographic rotary platen wet ink printer and the Quattro wet ink reciprocating imprinter.

Ideal for applications where products are narrow and fairly small, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals/nutraceuticals and foods including string cheese and meat snacks, all Greydon printers are precision-engineered and manufactured in the U.S.

NEW T-Max traversing thermal transfer printers

Designed for multiple-lane horizontal or vertical form/fill/seal machinery, blister packaging systems or horizontal continuous flow wrap equipment, the newly introduced programmable T-Max series prints high-quality bar codes, other product identification/information, code dates, lot numbers and expiry dates. The T-Max operates at speeds up to 12 in. per second.

J-Max traversing ink jet printers

Designed for multiple-lane intermittent or continuous form/fill/seal machinery, the J-Max series of programmable XY traversing ink jet printers operates at speeds up to 60 in./second and is bar code capable. A single ink jet head can code several packages per cycle.

Micromax and Quattro wet ink printers

Greydon's Micromax is a new wet ink printer combining the print quality of flexo rotary printers with the simplicity of a platen press and the ability of printing 1-2 colors.

With the largest print area (up to 3 in. x 6 in.) in the industry, the Quattro wet ink series of reciprocating printers offers high-quality printing of code dates, lot numbers and product identification.
