Mobility Solution for Enterprise Voice Systems Enables Unparalleled Remote Control of Corporate Telecommunications through Mobile Phones, Blackberry Devices and Palm Treos

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 28 / -- Traverse Networks, an innovator of mobility solutions for enterprise voice systems, today announced the commercial availability of Traverse CallConnect with Visual Voicemail software. The new product is an advanced voice communication management solution that enables workers to control their IP-PBX based phone, including corporate voicemail, through an easy-to-use visual interface designed for mobile phones, Blackberry devices and Palm Treo devices. The new product was introduced at the 2005 CIPTUG Conference, the annual meeting of the official Cisco IP telecommunications user group.

A standards-based client-server solution, Traverse CallConnect with Visual Voicemail features a mobile client that enables users to manage delivery of incoming calls, initiate outbound calls and see and hear voicemail through an email-like inbox. The CallConnect Mobility Server is deployed within the enterprise, and integrates with industry leading IP-PBX systems, as well as with industry leading voicemail platforms.

Traverse CallConnect results in unparalleled integration and management of inbound calls and outbound calls from the employees' mobile and office phones. Features of CallConnect include:

-- Simulring: Sends calls to both the desk phone and mobile phone
simultaneously. Both phones ring; either can be answered.

-- Redirect Calls: For employees that are telecommuting or traveling,
CallConnect forwards phone calls from the business phone number to any
phone designated by the user including a home office or hotel room
phone number. CallConnect can also be set up to automatically send
calls to different phone numbers according to a pre-defined schedule.

-- Block Interruptions: CallConnect eliminates interruptions by allowing
the user to designate specific contacts as VIPs. When the "Block"
function is on, only VIPs ring through-all other calls are sent
directly to voicemail.

-- Initiate Outbound Calls: CallConnect enables calls to originate from
the desk phone even when the caller is mobile. This allows the
outbound call record to be maintained inside the enterprise. The
enterprise caller ID is maintained and use of the corporate calling
plan saves money.

-- Call Log: Users can view calls to and from the office phone and can
save call information to the CallConnect phonebook, where "VIPs" can
be designated, or certain calls can be assigned to the "Block
Interruptions" feature. Users can also search the corporate directory
on their mobile phones by first name, last name or department.

One of the most innovative aspects of the Traverse CallConnect solution is Visual Voicemail. Visual Voicemail eliminates the need for a dial-in voicemail system and touch-tone menu. Features of Visual Voicemail include:

-- Mobile access to voicemail: An email-like inbox on the mobile phone
displays office voicemail messages, who they're from, when they were
sent and their duration. The user can then select one or more messages,
press play and listen.

-- Synchronization with corporate voicemail: The system allows the user
to save or delete a voicemail message and that action is synchronized
throughout the voicemail system, simultaneously deleting or saving the
message on the voicemail system at the employee's office.

-- New Message Notification: Visual Voicemail sends alerts to the mobile
phone when a new message is received on the corporate voicemail system.
