Akro-Mils Introduces New All-Purpose Transport Cart

Handle folds down for compact storage.

AKRON, OH (April 2002) -- Akro-Mils, a leader in storage, organization, and transport products, introduces its new transport cart, the Compact Tote Truck. The tote truck features a three-position fold down handle and compact shape for better handling and storage.

Designed for user convenience, the molded-in deck handle can be utilized for hanging the cart for storage on walls or inside delivery vans. The steel, push/pull handle is epoxy-coated to resist rusting and folds down flush to the deck for compact storage.

The Compact Tote Truck is molded from high-density polyethylene structural foam for exceptional durability and strength. The 35.5"L x 22.5"W deck platform is textured, providing a non-skid surface that prevents loads from shifting during transport.

The tote truck glides on two fixed and two swivel wheels, and easily maneuvers around tight corners and through narrow aisles. Toe-touch locking 4" swivel caster wheels on some models stabilize the cart on an incline or for loading. Caster options provide load capacities ranging from 300 to 1000 lbs.

Also available, a durable, canvas supply caddy featuring six, deep pockets provides ample storage for a hand-held computer, scanner, and other items. Sold separately, the supply caddy measures 16"W x 26"H and attaches to the steel handle with nylon hanging straps and Velcro fasteners.
