MTS Sensors Provides Direct Mount Transmitter Display for Pharmaceutical Sensors

CARY, N.C. (March 31, 2003) - MTS Sensors Division, announces a new direct mount LCD transmitter display system designed for its sanitary Level Plus® M-Series digital sensors for pharmaceutical applications. The display directly mounts to the top of each sensor for quick in-field readout of level and/or volume measurements.

"This built-in display unit was developed specifically for the pharmaceutical processing industry where continuous monitoring of in-field tanks is essential," commented Level Plus Product Manager, Adrian Totten. "Instead of mounting the display in a remote panel or cabinet, process engineers can view level information at the site of each tank."

The level transmitter kit consists of a threaded mounting bracket that to mates the MTS sensor LCD display together. The stainless steel mounting hardware does not effect the NEMA 4X rated transmitter housing. A corrosion resistant cable seal fitting ensures a clean and safe connection. The transmitter display is sold as a kit and is easily mounted with standard tools on site.
