Advance Lifts, Inc. of St. Charles, Illinois now offers 75 standard models of rail transfer bridges. These bridges facilitate traffic between areas or buildings bisected by rail spurs. When the trains are not active the bridge remains down for cross traffic. When the trains are active, the bridge raises to allow rail traffic into and out of the building.

The bridges are available in capacities from 10,000 lbs. to 30,000 lbs. with platform sizes from 6 ft. x 16-½ ft. to 8 ft. x 20-½ ft. The units are constructed from large box beams, which provide maximum rigidity in the structure. A 5 HP power unit drives the hydraulic cylinders that raise the bridge. Options include wheel curbs, handrails, and support legs for double long units.
