Transfer Adhesive Bonds Low Surface Energy Materials
Windsor, Connecticut - June 20, 2006.... Scapa Industrial has introduced Unifilm® U741, an aggressive 3 mil acrylic transfer adhesive designed to bond a variety of low surface energy materials including plastics, Lexan®, ABS and polypropylene.
This transfer adhesive provides a consistent, lasting bond upon lamination and is excellent for bonding decals and nameplates. The high tack acrylic adhesive delivers excellent peel strength and is resistant to water and ambient humidity. Supplied with a 60# kraft release liner, U741 can also be used for general purpose product assembly and laminating to foam for gasketing and NVH applications.
