Sira Introduces New Training Portfolio For 2004

Sira's Safety Compliance business has developed an innovative training portfolio, designed to meet the specific needs of personnel from the shop floor to the boardroom involved in the acquisition, design, production and use of safety-related equipment.

Sira has developed this unique portfolio in association with HazardEx and Lloyds Register* to include some 165 interesting and practical training courses. In addition, Sira is taking a more customised approach to training by encouraging customers to communicate their specific training needs via a fax-back form so that Sira can design specific programmes to suit their requirements.

Throughout 2004, Sira will be offering training courses such as:
o Non-technical sessions for senior managers and directors who may need to understand concepts and budgetary implications but may not need the technical detail.
o The commercial and legal implications of legislation and directives for managers who need a general knowledge of the standards in context of their liabilities.
o Compliance with DSEAR and Area Classification for staff who have to carry out this work.
o Specialist courses providing technical detail for manufacturers of equipment or components who need to design to comply with the relevant standards.

The courses are available at Sira training centres in both Chester and Chislehurst, however for companies wishing to have in-house delivery of training this can be arranged. For more information on the training packages now available and to receive a free copy of the new training brochure please call 020 8468 1802 or email siratraining@sira.co.uk
