New Allmand TLB Features Servo-Controlled Hydrostatic Transmission and Exclusive ESL(TM) Backhoe Design

HOLDREGE, Neb. - Featuring a servo-controlled hydrostatic transmission, a powerful 25-horsepower diesel engine and an exclusive ESL backhoe design, the new Allmand TLB-425 heavy-duty compact tractor loader backhoe, one of five new loader backhoe models from Allmand, delivers superior performance on a variety of excavation and earthmoving applications. The new TLB-425 is powered by a 25-horsepower Kubota D1105 diesel engine. The unit's 65-horsepower rated hydrostatic transmission boasts a servo-control feature, which offers the operator finite control of the machine as well as reduced pedal effort in either forward or reverse travel mode. Additionally, the transmission case is constructed from cast iron to minimize noise. Allmand's ESL backhoe design features oversized polished pins with replaceable composite bearings and urethane lip seals in all working joints; this design greatly reduces friction and extends service intervals by eliminating metal to metal contact, retaining grease levels and keeping out debris. For added safety, the TLB-425 backhoe features Allmand's exclusive, heavy-duty boom lock that can be engaged or disengaged from the operator's seat. The unit's industrial class backhoe delivers a 4,611-pound digging force and can reach a nine-foot, six-inch digging depth. Dual cylinder, 180-degree hydraulic cushioned swing allows precise work in tight areas. With a maximum lift capacity of 2,100 pounds and a 3,400-pound breakout force, the TLB-425 loader bucket can meet the needs of virtually any application. A maximum loading height of 90 inches enables the 1/2-cubic-yard loader bucket to dump loads where other compact tractors cannot reach. The unit's load sensing hydraulic steering system ensures hydraulic flow is used only when the operator is turning the steering wheel. This system increases productivity and enhances performance by providing the maximum available hydraulic power to the backhoe, loader or attachment. To extend the life of hydraulic components, the TLB-425 features a high-capacity hydraulic oil cooler. Over size tie rods, a 7,000-pound capacity front axle and a full-floating rear axle assembly with four pinion gears provide superior strength and stability and enable the unit to handle severe terrain. Featuring a hydraulic PTO, the TLB-425 can power many auxiliary attachments such as cut off saws, jackhammers or crimpers. Other standard features include: heavy-duty front end bumper; rounded hood; float control on the front-end loader bucket; easily-accessible service ports; and high flotation, low ground pressure tires. Ergonomic controls minimize operator fatigue, and a custom-designed operator seat provides a commanding view of both the loader and backhoe work areas. Certified four-post ROPS and retractable seatbelt are standard. Optional equipment includes auxiliary hydraulics, turf tires and various bucket sizes. Allmand Bros. Inc., established in 1938, is a leading manufacturer of Allmand portable light towers; Allmand compact loader backhoes; Allmand compact utility tractors; Port-A-Lite light stands; arrowboards; job site heaters; message boards and EZ Breaker concrete breakers.
