TPR² Introduces a New Fire Retardant Safety Product for Professional Motorsports

WATERBURY, CT - July 2004 - On the coat tales of the well-received and highly publicized spot on NASCAR on Fox in April 2004, TPR² -Thermal Product Research announces the release of its new Fire Retardant Aliphatic Urethane, its latest new fire safety product for professional motorsports. TPR² Coating Systems are the new track tested proprietary intumescent ceramic technologies that are providing the latest in revolutionary fire safety & thermal protection for drivers and their equipment. Unlike any other motorsports product on the market, this "spray-on coating" is made of non-toxic, environmentally safe components which set substantial new standards in fire safety and thermal reduction for the improved overall safety of racing.

Aliphatic Urethanes (as in Imron(TM), a registered trademark of the Dupont Corp) are widely used on chassis and underbodies of motorsport vehicles as well as commercial, industrial, and military vehicles.

TPR² has developed its own fire retardant aliphatic urethane line to provide a safer top coat for drivers and their equipment. This fire retardant paint will also be used as a top coat over TPR²'s highly successful AFESTM technology (Automatic Fire Extinguishing System) absorbs significant amounts of heat at a very high rate of speed, thus extinguishing liquid based fire and keeping them out by breaching the flaming flash point.

The fire retardant aliphatic urethanes come in many colors and can be used in the most demanding environments including applications where durability and toughness are required.

Incorporated in 2004, Thermal Product Research was created with a purpose of creating new technology and safety products in the motorsports industry worldwide. TPR²'s technology includes: insulation, anti-explosion, fire abatement, non-flammable and fire extinguishing products. TPR²'s product lines also include coatings, pellets, plastics & powder technologies.
