The 1519LM and 1919LM Touchmonitors Add 15- and 19-Inch Models with UL60601 and IEC60601 Certification to Elo Portfolio
HARRISBURG, PA. - TE Connectivity today announced the addition of two new products to its portfolio of medical-friendly solutions: the Elo TouchSystems 1519LM and 1919LM touchmonitors. Measuring 15.6-inches (1519LM) and 18.5-inches (1919LM) the monitors complement the recently introduced 2400LM(24-inch) touchmonitor to round out the Elo TouchSystems family of devices built to help support the unique needs of medical environments and touch applications. Both the 1519LM and 1919LM meet UL60601 and IEC60601 certifications and have an IPX1 drip-proof rating.
Similar to the 2400LM touchmonitor, the 1519LM and 1919LM represent efficient, performance-driven and cost-effective solutions for System Integrators, Value-Added Resellers and Software Developers to consider integrating into their healthcare applications such as nursing stations, computer-aided therapy, electronic medical record keeping, paperless charting, patient self check-in / registration or point-of-information installations. Each model is available with either IntelliTouch surface acoustic wave or AccuTouch five-wire resistive touchscreen product technologies, with the 1919LM also supporting APR (acoustic pulse recognition) touchscreen product technology. Both models are accepted where exceptional touchscreen visibility and electrical safety requirements are necessary.
For applications like point-of-care, mobile medical carts and point-of-service, the 1519LM and 1919LM touchmonitors feature high quality display panels with wide-viewing angles and a high contrast ratio for exceptional screen clarity and contrast - even in the brightest environments. The 1519LM and 1919LM are compliant with multiple safety and electrical certifications, including EN 60950-1 and EN 60601-1 for safety and EN 60950-1, EN55022, EN55024, and EN 60601-1-2 for EMC. In addition, both the 1519LM and 1919LM are RoHS compliant, and include an enclosure design that is resistant to dripping water with an IPX1 rating, protecting the unit from liquid drops and spills. Models are also available in white, a preferred aesthetic for healthcare environments.
Additional features include a USB/Serial combination touch controller, DVI, VGA and built-in speakers. Models also come equipped with a removable base and mounting features, including a VESA mount as well as wall- and arm-mounting options, provide installation flexibility for almost any architectural configuration. Power and monitor control functions can be locked-out to prevent tampering and speakers are built-in to enrich the audio experience.
The new 1519LM and 1919LM touchmonitors combine precision Elo touchscreen product technology with commercial-grade, high quality LCD panels and are backed by a three-year warranty and 40 years of Elo TouchSystems experience.
