Low Profile Torque Wrench For Space-Sensitive Applications

BROADVIEW, IL, October 2000, Simplex announced today the introduction of the Pow'r-Torque line of low profile hydraulic torque wrenches, each featuring an exceptionally slim nose radius to help users achieve easy positioning in close quarters.

Engineered for maximum strength, Pow'r-Torque wrenches are lightweight yet deliver a high torque ratio accurate to within 3% for troublesome make and break jobs.

Simplex is offering Pow'r-Torque wrenches with a wide range of links in convenient 1/16-inch increments. Changing links can be done on the fly, without tools. For world usage, Simplex is offering the links in both imperial and metric sizes. Optional reducer inserts are also available to meet customer needs.

The Pow'r-Torque link drive's low profile is made possible by a patented piston design that saves space without compromising performance. The smallest wrench width is only 1.1 inches with a radius of a mere .36 inch. Positioning is also made easier by the no-leak couplers ability to swivel on double axes.

Headquartered in Broadview, Illinois, Simplex is a division of Templeton-Kenly & Company.
