Tohnichi Torque Wrenches Take Aircraft Maintenance And Inspection Accuracy To New Heights

Northbrook, IL - (December 13, 2004) Ideal for use in aircraft maintenance and inspection applications, Tohnichi's Dial Indicating and Click Type Torque Wrenches provide long-lasting accuracy.

Tohnichi's DB Dial Indicating Torque Wrenches feature convenient and precise torque inspection and tightening capability. The DB's easy-to-read dial measures and adjusts torque from both clockwise and counter clockwise directions. Accuracies in each of these directions are within 13 %. A moveable dial also enables the torque pointer to be set to the desired torque, and the assembly to be tightened until the torque pointer reaches zero. Because the amount of deformation is small compared to a flat beam type torque wrench, operator fatigue is reduced.

The DB comes in American, metric and SI units of measurement. Torque ranges are from 0-600 in.lbs and 0-3,000 ft.lbs (American); 2-1,800 kgf.cm and 3-600kgf.m(metric); and 0.2-6,000 N.m (SI). A memory pointer dial comes standard on all models.

QL Click Type Torque Wrenches are designed for tightening a wide range of bolts and fasteners. A click signals when the proper amount of torque has been applied. The QL's fixed ratchet head includes 24 teeth accurately ground for durability. Movement at 15 degree intervals allows for ease of tightening in confined spaces. Torque ranges for the QL are from 4-750 in.lbs and 15-1,500 ft.lbs (American); 5-2,000 kgf.cm and 4-210 kgf.m (metric); and 0.5-2,100 N.m (SI).

Resin grips and extension handles are available as options on some models.

Tohnichi Torque Wrenches are available for quick delivery from stock.
