New Reaction Torque Transducer Offers High Torsional Stiffness in a Compact Short Drive Length with Fatigue Rated Design
Troy, Ml, July 26, 2002: Lebow Products Inc. is pleased to introduce its new Model 2100 Reaction Torque Sensor line. Features include extremely high torsional stiffness values with an inner to outer hub (radial spoke ) design optimizing end to end drive length. Such a design also offers high dynamic response characteristic along with a fatigue rating to withstand high duty cycling and structural life testing. Units are temperature compensated with a usable range from - 65 F to + 200F. Output sensitivity for these 350 ohm bridge transducers is typically 1mV/V. All units conform to ANSI Z540 calibration standard traceable to NIST.
The Model 2100 family consists of 12 capacities ranging from 150 1b.ft. to 8,000 lb.ft. Larger capacities are available upon request. Non-linearity and hysteresis performance specification is 0.15% or better of rated output. Repeatability specification of better then 0.1% of rated output. The Model 2100 sensors can mate directly to a commercially available coupling flange or to a drive shaft yoke flange.
