Troy, Ml, March 4, 2002; Lebow Products Inc. introduces its new Model 1960 Series line of Rotary Torque Transducers. The Model 1960 series has an amplified output. These are available with either a Circular Shaft or Square Drive configuration. These transducers are suitable for laboratory applications as well as industrial environment applications to provide fast, accurate measurement of torque such as in dynamometer test stands, web tensioning, viscosity control, torsional test equipment, process control and industrial machinery monitoring and control. Special features include built in instrumentation amplifier giving a high level output signal, non-contact signal transfer (magnetoelastic principles), low maintenance simple design, 150% Full Scale mechanical overload protection, and high frequency response ( 1000Hz ). Sensors have an overall Accuracy of 1% or better, temperature operating range from -10C to + 65C with a power requirement 5 - 7 VDC at 100mA max.
