Amplified Output Compact Non-Contact Rotating Torque Transducers Suitable For Laboratory Applications and Industrial Environmental At Economical Prices

Troy, MI, February 20, 2002; Lebow Products Inc. introduces its new Model 1700 Series line of Rotary Torque Transducers. The Model 1700 series has an amplified output and is available with optional Encoder for angle measurement or RPM option for speed monitoring. These transducers are suitable for laboratory applications as well as industrial environments because of their compact size (body length from 62 mm to 84 mm) and multiple mounting options ( bottom or side ). The contactless transmission of supply voltage and measuring signal enables continuous operation with low maintenance. Special features include built in instrumentation amplifier giving a +/- 10 VDC output, 100% mechanical overload protection and only a single supply voltage ( 12 VDC ) requirement. The torque line covers a broad range of torque capacities from 0.1NM to 1500 NM. Linearity and hysteresis performance specifications of 0.1% or better.

Established in 1955, Lebow Products manufactures a complete line of torque sensors and load cells. The torque sensor family consists of precision rotary in-line and reaction torque sensors, as well as industrial grade TorqStar sensors. The load cell products include fatigue resistant and general purpose models. These products are utilized for precise measurement in R&D, manufacturing, process control and many other applications in a broad range of markets. Website -
