The Snap-On Classic 96 Tool Organization Solution Provides Unsurpassed Strength And Lasting Value

Classic 96 Combines Modern Storage Technology with Traditional Good Looks

KENOSHA, Wis., September 26, 2006 - Snap-on Tools has again proven its ability to create innovative storage solutions that meet the needs and exceed the expectations of America's automotive technicians. Easy customization, durability and enduring value will make Snap-on's new Classic 96 tool storage roll cab an instant classic among technicians.

The 24-inch deep, 72-inch wide Classic 96 (KRA2418) storage center offers a mammoth 31,000 cubic inches of storage space. The unit's 18 drawers can be configured to almost any specification, with 2-inch mounting centers located throughout the unit. Technicians may choose to add additional drawers anywhere on the roll cab or top chest to meet their specific needs and maximize efficiency. Each drawer on the Classic 96 is trimmed in aluminum and equipped with full-width, 3/4-inch pulls to create more space
and provide a comfortable pull when accessing tools within the unit.

For added durability, each corner of the Classic 96 is reinforced by unique 14-gauge steel gussets that ensure the unit will remain square for a lifetime, while enduring the most extreme wear and tear any service environment has to offer. The storage drawers on the Classic 96 also feature up to 60 percent more spot welds than competitive storage centers, extending the life of the drawers. Snap-on Tools takes the resilience of the Classic 96 a step further with a nine-stage pre-treatment process, followed by a chemical and scratch-resistant paint. Technicians can choose among several finishes for their Classic 96 storage center, including e-coat paint in classic Snap-on red, or a powder coat in royal blue, gloss black, ultra yellow or deep purple.

The Snap-on promise of quality and strength is even extended to the internal walls of the storage unit, and every Classic 96 boasts a corrosion-resistant locking system for unwavering durability. Superior craftsmanship and an intuitive design come together in the Classic 96 to provide a truly unique storage solution.

"We are confident that the new Classic 96 will quickly be a favorite among technicians," said John Landree, Tool Storage product manager, Snap-on Tools. "The strength and traditional design of the Classic 96 continue the tradition of quality and lifelong value that is fundamental to Snap-on."
