BURGAW, N.C. (February 28, 2002) - Wieland Electric Inc. announces the availability of WKMF Series miniature spring clamp blocks for easy wiring in space restricted applications. The miniature spring clamp blocks mount on TS-15mm DIN rail and offers a profile of just 30.5mm off the DIN rail enabling shallow cabinet terminations, such as in remote junction boxes for signal and power distribution or door wiring for push buttons, indictor lights and switches.

WKMF miniature blocks alleviate this design challenge by offering the smallest block in the industry for the electrical specifications." The WKMF Series miniature blocks are manufactured of a high-quality polyamide 6.6 insulating housing tested to UL94 V-0 flammability resistance. The clamping body is made of corrosion resistant stainless steel with a pre-programmed clamping force for maintenance free wiring. The current carrying bar is a tin plated copper alloy. In addition to worldwide approvals, WKMF blocks are UL approved for 600V, 20A for wire sizes 26-12 AWG. Complete accessories such as end plates, partitions, wire entry guides, jumper bars, screw drivers and marking strips are available.
Available as a feed through or ground terminal block, the WKMF Series is ideal for conveyor controls, packaging/material handling equipment, transformers, CNC controls, lighting controls, automation equipment, tanning bed equipment and panel builders.
