J.W. Miller Announces New Multilayer Chip Inductors for High Frequency Applications
GARDENA, Calif. - June 13, 2001 - J.W. Miller, a leading provider of custom and standard magnetic components, introduces the new PM0402 Series of multilayer, surface-mount chip inductors ideally suited for high-frequency designs. Monolithic construction provides high reliability, while ceramic material ensures very stable electrical characteristics.
Applications include small cellular phones, PDAs, pagers, handheld organizers, high-frequency wireless communication devices, notebook computers, printers, network cards, industrial electronics, and electronic entertainment devices.
Performance characteristics include inductance range of 1.0 to 56nH, DC current range of 150 to 300mA, high Q value, and operating temperature range of -25° to +105°C. Micro-miniature in size, the PM0402 measures just 1 mm x 0.5mm x 0.5 mm.
The PM0402 Series is available in tape and reel packaging (10,000 per reel) and is priced from $0.10 to $0.12, depending on production order quantities.
