Hands-Free Timing with the PROFORM Self-Powered Timing-Light Tab
Roseville, MI: Hot on the heels of its Self-Powered Timing Light (Part Number 67414), PROFORM now makes setting ignition timing easier than ever. True hands-free checking of timing is finally possible thanks to the PROFORM Billet Aluminum Adjustable Timing Tab. The tab permanently mounts to the engine and contains a built-in self-powered LED light. Connecting the kit's spark-plug lead between the timing tab and plugwire causes the light to fire. No separate timing light or battery hook-ups are required.
Twelve different part numbers cover a variety of popular Ford and GM engines. Ford small-block Self-Powered Timing Tabs fit 10 o'clock and 11 o'clock TDC applications. Chevy small-block tabs are available for popular harmonic-balancer diameters: 6.25", 6.375", 6.75", 7", 7.25" and 8"; GM big-block part numbers cover these damper sizes: 6.25", 7", 7.25" and 8".
