SecureCRT® 7.0 Official from VanDyke Software Improves Productivity for Network Administrators with Tiled Sessions and a Built-in TFTP Server
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- VanDyke Software, a developer of multi-platform terminal emulation software and security solutions, today announced the official release of SecureCRT 7.0. SecureCRT 7.0 provides customers on the Windows platform the ability to tile multiple sessions.

"Tiling provides a big benefit when working on multiple network devices since they can view multiple sessions at once. A built-in TFTP server in SecureCRT 7.0 provides network administrators on Windows, Linux, and Mac platforms with a convenient way to manage an array of network devices, such as Cisco routers, from one application. One customer stated, "The addition of the connection-specific TFTP server has made it very convenient to manage all our Cisco devices without having to either leave the TFTP server running or remembering to turn it off when moving to the next task."
Also new in version 7.0 are the ability to skip authentication methods such as PublicKey or GSSAPI that might not be supported or configured on some systems, enhancements to mapping functions and buttons, and automatic updates to changed passwords in the Mac Keychain.
