Tiffen Announces Software Update For Photo Fx Ultra For Apple® Ipad


Hauppauge, N.Y., July 29, 2010 - The Tiffen Company, a Long Island-based leading manufacturer and distributor of award winning accessories for the still imaging, motion picture and broadcast markets, announced an update to the popular Photo fx Ultra, a photo enhancement software application for the Apple iPad. The Photo fx Ultra v2 is available at the Apple iTunes store for $5.99 and free update to current Photo fx Ultra users.

What's new. The added Paint filter to the Image group with the following brushes: Color, Clone, Blur, Black and White, Mosaic, Red Eye, Repair, Scatter and Eraser. New Photographic Group offers opacity control added to the Mask brush settings and crop and rotation enhancement. Now users can rotate by 1/10 of a degree. Photo fx Ultra v2 also has corrected Tint feature.

Photo fx Ultra v2, while similar in content to Photo fx for the iPhone provides an impressive user interface that takes full advantage of the increased screen size and higher resolution available. Features include a new Color Correct filter, more presets, a search capability for all filters and effects and file compatibility* with Tiffen's Dfx Digital Filter still image editions that run as a standalone application or plug-in for Adobe Photoshop or Apple Aperture, allowing the transfer of filter settings.

Other features include: - Levels filter, Sharpen, Auto - Eye Light, Color Compensating, Color Conversion, Light Balancing and Photographic filters, Opacity control for Masking brush settings, Crop and Rotation Enhancements including Crop to standard print sizes such as: 4x6, 5x7, 8x8, 8x10, 8x12, 11x14, 12x12, 12x18, 16x19, 16x20, 16x24 and 20x30, Rotation control by 1/10 of a degree and user defined rotation angle.
