A new line of reusable, hook-and-loop tie wraps that are packaged for easy application and will not damage cable, wire, and fiber optic insulation is being introduced by Nelco Products, Inc. of Pembroke, Massachusetts.
Nelco SofTie(TM) Hook-and-Loop Tie Wraps are 6" straps that come in a variety of bright colors for bundling and coding copper wire and fiber optic cables without damaging the insulation. Packaged on spools for easy application, each soft and pliable strap has a wide head for a tight grip, while the pull-through hole permits tight cinching without overtensioning.
Featuring kiss cut construction, Nelco SofTie(TM) Hook-and-Loop Tie Wraps are easy to tear-off the spool and use. They are 6"L x 5/8"W x 32 mils thick, weigh 0.0040 oz./sq.in., and feature 34 lbs. per ½" width tensile strength. Applications for these reusable tie wraps include wire harnesses, copper and fiber optic cables, plastic tubing, and related items.
