Three MaxLite LED Outdoor Fixtures Qualify for Lighting Design Lab's LED Products List

West Caldwell, New Jersey – MaxLite®, a leading global manufacturer and marketer of the award-winning MaxLED® line of innovative LED luminaires and lamps, announces that three outdoor LED luminaires are now listed on the Lighting Design Lab’s (LDL) interim qualified products list. This listing ensures that MaxLite’s 40- and 60-watt LED Wall Pack and its 40-watt LED Canopy Fixture will qualify for rebates for one year by most utility companies in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Alaska.

“We are proud to add these three new outdoor LED fixtures to the LDL qualified products list,” said MaxLite’s Vice President of Product Marketing and Engineering Pat Treadway. “This listing is proof of MaxLite’s commitment to manufacturing high-quality LED products, which we pass onto our Pacific Northwest customers.”

MaxLite’s three 5000K correlated color temperature (CCT) LED luminaires offer an L70-rated lifetime of 50,000 hours, enabling more than 11 years of maintenance-free operation when used 12 hours per day. Sealed to remain free of dirt and insects, the fixtures are also compatible with occupancy and dusk-to-dawn sensors for additional energy savings.

 • The 40- and 60-watt LED Wall Packs replace 175- and 250-watt metal halide wall packs, respectively. The 40-watt LED Wall Pack delivers 2560 lumens and offers a color rendering index (CRI) of 86, while the 60-watt LED Wall Pack delivers 3830 lumens at a CRI of 88. The fixtures are each constructed with a heavy-duty cast aluminum housing that is polyester powder coated to be rust- and corrosion-proof and a high-quality shatter-resistant glass lens.

• MaxLite’s 40-watt LED Canopy Fixture replaces a 150-watt metal halide fixture, while delivering 3030 lumens. Available in standard bronze or white finishes, the heavy-duty die cast aluminum one-piece housing is polyester powder coated for long durability, and the polycarbonate lens with UV inhibitors resists shock. The fixtures can be surface mounted to J-boxes or directly to non-combustible surface.

The LDL qualifies LED products while they are being reviewed by ENERGY STAR® or the DesignLights Consortium® (DLC). Products on the LDL list are certified to meet ENERGY STAR or DLC specs, except lumen maintenance, which is verified while the product is part of the LDL qualification list. The products are listed for no longer than 12 months during which time the ENERGY STAR or DLC qualification is usually completed.
