Redesigned RIDGID® Threading Machine Stands are More Portable and Efficient

ELYRIA, OHIO - April 2006 - Ridge Tool Company has recently redesigned its RIDGID® Threading Machine Stands (models 100A, 150A and 200A), giving more portability to end users on the jobsite.

The redesigned RIDGID threading machine stands feature horizontal mounting that provides a stronger joint and easier transport on the jobsite. Large diameter wheels make threading machine stands ideal for shop use as well as for in the field. The addition of wide handles also allows for more convenient transport.

Constructed of heavy-walled steel tubing, RIDGID threading machine stands give users a stable and solid work platform. Like the original models, the new stands feature adjustable widths that are compatible with the RIDGID 535, RIDGID 1822 and RIDGID 1224 threading machines.

The Model 200A is equipped with a new steel tool cabinet that provides improved jobsite storage security and efficiency. This new feature gives users a mobile work station and is large enough to store either a RIDGID Model 600 or Model 700 threading machine. In addition, internal shelves and a large external pocket provide convenient storage areas for dies, die heads, oil jugs, fittings, dopes, wrenches and other work tools and equipment. The tool cabinet also has two cut-outs, so that the foot switch and power cord can be secured inside the box during transportation or to prevent unauthorized usage.

Models 100A and 150A feature a high-impact, corrosion-resistant polymer tray for storage of smaller tools.

"RIDGID threading machine stands were redesigned to give users more portability and security that are needed on a jobsite," said David Schramm, product manager, Ridge Tool Company. "By providing these improvements, users can be more efficient and get their jobs done more quickly."
