Multi-Spindle Thread Verification Module Developed by New Vista
Baltimore, MD- For inspecting more than one internal or external thread, New Vista Corporation has developed an automated Multi-Spindle Thread Verification Module. The all-electric unit, which includes a servomotor, servodrive, and motion programming, can check a quantity of threads as quick as a second. Extending torque is adjustable up to 12 in/lbs. Retracting torque is 40 in/lbs to assure gage won't stick in threads. It will verify thread sizes from 3mm to 50mm (#4 to 2").
This product is a complement to New Vista's Thread Verification Unit (TVU) for single thread inspection.
By powering a gage probe or ring into and back out of a part, mechanical thread verification mimics the certainty of hand gauging, while marrying it with the speed of high volume production. GO, NO GO, and GO-NO GO combination gauging, as well as thread depth gauging, are all possible.
