New Thin, Soft Foam from Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has announced new .3mm - 1.0mm gauge Korel® urethane foams for use in demanding telecommunications gasket and sealing applications.
The micro-cellular urethane foams are very soft and conformable yet they resist compression set even in elevated temperatures. These foams facilitate assembly of parts with variable dimensions and they will absorb thermal expansion and contraction. The new products are offered on PET liner that adds stability and aids in die-cutting. The Korel thin, soft is recommended for LCD gaskets, lens and cover seals, speaker and sound management gaskets among other applications.
