Thin Film Chip Resistors feature 15 ppm TCR.

Press Release Summary:

RNCS series thin film chip resistors, designed for applications requiring high temperature and environmental stability as well as low noise, are offered in version exhibiting 15 ppm TCR. Moisture-withstanding characteristics equal performance of tantalum nitride resistors, making them suitable replacements for those type resistors. They are available in 1,000 pc reel quantities and standard reel sizes.

Stackpole Expands the RNCS Series of Moisture Resistant Precision Resistors to Include 15 ppm TCR

RALEIGH, NC - Stackpole Electronics, Inc. announces the expansion of the RNCS Series TCR options down to 15 ppm. The RNCS Series is a reliable moisture-withstanding thin film chip resistor series designed for applications requiring high temperature and environmental stability and low noise. The moisture-withstanding characteristics rival the performance of tantalum nitride resistor elements at a significantly lower cost. This makes an RNCS resistor an ideal replacement for those resistors, enabling cost reduction without sacrificing performance. Lead times for the RNCS Series range from four to six weeks, providing another benefit over tantalum nitride resistors, which are often difficult to source.

The RNCS Series is a great choice for metering and instrumentation, controls, and remote monitoring for industrial and commercial applications, energy monitoring and control, telecom infrastructure, non-established reliability aerospace, RF and IF attenuators, fuel cell systems and assemblies, and biomedical instrumentation and control.

Pricing for the RNCS Series varies with size, resistance value, tolerance, and TCR, ranging from $20 per thousand to $280 per thousand in full reel quantities. The RNCS Series is available in 1,000pc reel quantities in addition to the standard reel sizes. Contact Stackpole for volume pricing.
