This ultrasonic wall thickness gage is ideal for measuring the effects of corrosion or erosion on tanks, pipes or any structure where access is limited to one side.
o Reliability: The PosiTector Ultrasonic Thickness Gage's sensitive dual element transducer provides fast accurate readings. The PosiTector UTG conforms to ASTM E797 and is factory calibrated against international standards and supplied with a Certificate of Calibration.
o Versatility: The PosiTector UTG has both single and two point adjustment capability. Scan Mode allows for quick inspection over a large area. A HiLo alarm audibly and visibly alerts when measurements exceed operator selected limits. Internal memory stores up to 250 readings.
o Ease-of-use: The PosiTector UTG has a large easy-to-read, graphics LCD with a two-button menu-driven user interface. Simply select from a list of pre-programmed velocities of common materials or enter your own with ease.
