Ebro(TM) Instruments Unites Convenience With Accuracy



The new Type TLC 1598 thermometer from ebro(TM) Instruments is a convenient solution for a food inspector on the go. The integrated PT 1000 stainless steel probe folds back into its housing to fit into any shirt pocket. This 2.5oz lightweight thermometer can measure from -50 to +200°C (-58 to +392°F). It can resolve to 0.1°C and is accurate to ± 0.2°C, ± 1 digit.

The ebro(TM) TLC 1598 is suited for measuring air, liquids and semi-solid goods such as meat, fruits, dough, etc. The unit is ideal for fast and accurate measurements in top-opening supermarket freezers, cold storage houses and restaurants.

It has an easy-to-clean smooth plastic housing which measures 6.2 x 1.7 x 0.8 inches and is IP 54, splashing liquid protected. The four-digit liquid crystal display is easy to read with a digit height of 0.35 inches. The 3.6 V lithium battery has a typical working life of 4 years with a daily service time of 8 hours and a two-hour auto shutoff feature to preserve the battery.
