Thermal Product Solutions Ships Gruenberg Conveyor Oven to the Medical Industry
New Columbia, PA – August 20, 2018: Thermal Product Solutions, a global manufacturer of thermal-processing equipment, announced the shipment of a Gruenberg conveyor oven to the Medical industry. The oven was used in a Class “B” environment.
This Gruenberg unitized conveyor oven has a maximum temperature rating of 450° F and work chamber dimensions of 22” W x 66” D x 16” H. The Gruenberg conveyor oven is comprised of two individual indexing 7” wide belts, constructed from a structural steel frame that supports the 304-stainless steel chamber liner and the exterior stainless steel sheet metal. All interconnecting struts are non-continuous which keeps the exterior cool.
This belt conveyor oven utilizes horizontal airflow, which maximizes heating rates and temperature uniformity of the product load. Two circulation blowers with variable frequency drives are in a conditioning plenum chamber on the top of the oven. These blowers direct air through a diffuser panel to flow horizontally across the product. The air exits the work chamber on the opposite side duct wall back to the heaters for reheating and recirculation.
